I must admit that when I saw Aerotel Hotel, it didn't quite gel with me that this was an actual aeroplane hotel.
And I then soon realized that this is not just a hotel.
It's actually aviation history you can sleep in.
It was transported by road across three provinces, footage that went viral and really caught the attention of millions.
And some people thought it was a plane that had crashed that was being moved, but it wasn't.
It was actually a dream becoming a reality.
And two years later, A 27-300 followed, and this was no ordinary aircraft.
She had served as a VIP presidential jet carrying heads of state across South Africa, in fact, across Africa.
And today, her first-class cabin is your private suite.
The same seats that once held diplomats now hold couples celebrating anniversaries, aviation enthusiasts coming in search of an immersive experience or a bucket list item, and travelers who are seeking the unusual, the impossible.
