For anybody that maybe likes to run and gun and focus a little bit more on the offense, it's not that we don't guard.

But what you said was, I think what you're talking about is games within the game.

And like, like I said, like, even if you're on the side where you're winning by 30, well, if that's the case, then you got to be almost, it's kind of like what our girls volleyball team goes through a little bit sometimes in district is not having that, not having teams push them as much.

And so there's no knocks there, but I think the danger is that you almost get a little complacent in games that are like that again and again.

So whatever end of the spectrum that you're on, finding games within the game is huge.

And I think that's what it does, like you said, it crystallizes what your timeouts look like, what your halftimes look like.

Instead of just throwing things against the wall and seeing what sticks, all right, like assistant coaches, tell me where we're at with offensive rebounds.

And you could almost flip that and it's the defensive side too, right? And then it definitely helps too with film.

So to me, I just want to have clarity with what my message is to them in the moment, but also what it is the next day.

I'm just going to try to figure out for them which one of those areas do we really need to focus on.

And if we win by a lot, still play the game within the game and figure out where can we still sharpen some edges.
Just and then obviously be able to play some kids that don't get as many minutes in some other games to kind of see and test them out and see what they can bring to the table and maybe get some more playing time later on down the road because they might have shown something that they haven't been able to show in practice.
