PART ONE | Dan Ward-Smith: The Making of an Albion Legend

Hello and welcome to the most special episode of It's Always Scrummy in Plymouth.

I'm so unbelievably excited to get this finding out there.

So you all know why you're here.

I have managed to get the big man, the Plymouth Albion legend that is Dan Ward-Smith to have a chat for myself.

Thanks to Dan, he's given us a lot of his time up to me.

So it splits up into two episodes.

So this first episode we'll be talking about his early life and then his Plymouth Albion career.

And then in a week or two's time, I'll release the second part where Dan goes into his move to Bristol, his career onwards, his battles with injuries, and then finishing all off with his all-time dream 15 players of players he played with throughout his career.

We've got a very special guest of this episode.

This guest spent six seasons at Plymouth Albion, 93 tries scored, back-to-back promotions, including an undefeated season, helped Bristol to a third-place finish in the Premiership and was named in the 2006-07 Team of the Season, represented England A, Saxons, and toured with the senior England training squad as well.

Of course, this is the GOAT of Plymouth Albion.
