hello and welcome to the irish marketing podcast powered by imj and tin pop productions i'm daryl and they say all good things must come to an end and so it is with our creative series i've been speaking to a number of creatives over the course of the last six weeks on the podcast today will be our final interview in this series at least for now and we're closing out the series with an interview with carl waters chief creative officer at FolkVML.

So Carl joined me in Tim Potts studios earlier this week and spoke about initially how he was inspired by advertising in the 80s and 90s and curious about working in a creative field, and then how his career started and progressed all the way from The Hive.

Along the way, Carl shares some of the ad campaigns, both his and others, which have inspired him along the way.

And we spoke about an issue that seems to have come up in a number of interviews.

And that's this idea of resilience and how important it is to have it if you want to have a sustainable and successful career as a creative.
