So we've talked about a lot of things here over the course of the show here today.
We talked about the income strategies, why that's important, retirements, 401ks, IRAs.
Now, the question is, what does that mean for you? Now, knowing all these headlines, it could be useful, but you really need to connect that to your goals.
Is this headline helping me with my goal or objective? And you got to ask yourself, are you trying to grow your money or maybe it's generate income or prepare for retirement? You know, everybody that's listening right now probably has some different type of goal.
So, for example, if you are looking to grow your money, that could be actually two different approaches and timeframes.
That would be a different approach than you would do for retirement because income is more shorter term by nature, like we discuss each and every week.
You're probably going to use a shorter timeframe on a price chart because as we talk about all the time, all your decisions are based off a price chart.
Now, if you're preparing for retirement, a lot of times people say, that's that long-term investment.
You still have to have a strategy as far as when to get in, but also when to get out.
You could have a long-term investment and that take a much shorter time than you expected because price moved faster.
It's based off price and learning the strategies on where to get in, but also where to get out.
Now, if I asked you to explain your investment plan in two minutes, could you? So here's a couple questions that you may want to consider if you really are looking to identify what is that actual missing piece.
So what is this money supposed to accomplish? You know, that could be your income bucket or your retirement bucket.
When will you need it? Do you need it now or later? You know, there's different times.
Who knows? Is it for an emergency? How much risk can you afford? You always want to keep that risk small and the reward much higher.
For example, why do you own certain or each investment that you have? Is there a reason? Is it, you know, you like a certain type of phone, so you buy that certain type of stock? You know, is there really a reason why you have it? Is it because it was price was just going up and you were hoping for it to go up higher and you're just it's a hope strategy? Or has price been going into a demand zone where potential buyers could be waiting? Institutional buyers, hopefully, because that's what Trading Academy teaches is strategies designed to follow those institutions.
