Natalie DeeringHostAnd I was there for five days where, I mean, I felt really, really taken care of.
I over the next like 24, 48 hours started getting my all my mental like capabilities back.
Luckily, the stroke was in areas like all three were in areas that I don't aren't responsible for any like cognitive function or anything like that.

so like starting to notice like you know I still when I left the hospital was struggling with walking I still was like barely able to walk down the hallway um when we got home my husband didn't want me doing the stairs by myself because he was really worried like when I was home alone so I was pretty limited um with mobility but I did you know and I think this is a a challenge in our system is that they sent me home and they said like, yeah, you should probably find a physical therapist.

friends and stuff that were able to connect to me, I was able to find an in-home like PT, unfortunately it was private pay out of pocket, but like that was able to come three, four times a week for like 16 weeks to help me recover.
So it felt me, helped me feel so much more like, you know, I was going through this major experience of being in some ways I felt like very like Like, I felt like I was like, you know, going through this experience that no one my age had gone through.
