Business travel can be a strain on your marriage or your relationship. Whether you are the one who travels for business or your partner is the one who travels, this episode will give you tips of how…
So, mama, if business travel is a part of your life, I have some tips to make this a lot easier for you and to make it not be a drain on your relationship.
So my number one thing that I want you to do is take a realistic look at your schedules, your husband's business trips, your trips, and see when you can carve out that special night that's just for you two.
for your intimacy date at home.
And the intimacy date, it's something I talked about in a previous episode, but essentially it's your date with you and your husband in the bedroom so kids are asleep you're not getting distracted and it's basically your opportunity to you know you're going to make it feel special because you're going to you know do something a little bit different from a normal night you can you know light a candle you can light some incense you can play some nice music but then i want you to connect physically together And that's something where, you know, start the night doing either some touch, some massage, some slow dance, something that just brings you together physically so that you can be embodied, your body can relax, and you're connecting.
And then that way, you're going to enjoy each other's presence and feel connected.
And then if it leads to some sex, that's fantastic.
But if it doesn't, it's okay because you're still spending time together and you're connecting in an intimate way, even if it's not sexual.
So the goal here, it's connection, not intercourse.
because that's the goal.
I want you to feel full, I want you to feel fulfilled, and I want you to feel relaxed because the intimacy date is supposed to be relaxing for you and something that you look forward to and then it recharges you.
So that's my number one tip.
