Recently, I've discovered that there's people who are-- they're like, they're my people.
There's something about 'em where there's, like, a deeper connection and a-- And there's just something so refreshing about it when I meet people who are like that.
And I think when you sorta discover who actually fits in with you and your life, and you can actually find authentic, genuine connections, it's quite healing because it's like there's this peacefulness and this effortlessness that comes from being around people.
When you're with somebody that doesn't require you to try to be anything other than yourself.
Mm.
And it's hard to keep up with that, and that you get to a certain point in life where none of that matters.
For me, I guess, my daughter, I got a 11-and-a-half-year-old daughter, and just really getting to that point where I've, I've always wanted to do it for myself and struggled, but actually having her as my rock to get through this, I've gone further than I've ever gone before and-
Mm.
But yeah, really connecting with people and just finding, just being able to trust and believe in people again is the biggest thing, and not isolating yourself, catching up and drinking and doing all the old things, and you just get to that point where you realize that it was fun once, and it's, it's not anymore.
Yeah
It's actually a reflection of you.
It's like actually believing in yourself is part of that.
So-- And I've noticed this.
Often if y- if you think people are trustworthy, that's a reflection on your own self trust.
If you think people are honest, that's a reflection of your own personal honesty.
And it is interesting when, like, th- there's this sort of mirror thing that happens that I've noticed when you, like, especially when you look at people in general.
So if you think that, you know, people don't change, people are always the same, you can't rely on people, you are immediately saying that about yourself, and it really caps your own growth and your potential when you, you kinda can't push through 'cause you can't be like, "Well, I'm different from everybody else, and everybody else is this way," because that's not how we view things.
And I've just noticed that there's been times in my life where I've been so held back by just thinking that, yeah, you know, people are crap.
People are this.
People are that.
