Still feels pretty surreal.
It hasn't, I don't think, set in that this isn't a prank.
Yeah, I think it makes it excited and skeptical.
Healthy dose of skepticism.
So I'm gonna, you know, this was an amazing, I would say that, you know, this final may be one of the best games, not only that I've experienced in Jeopardy, it's like an all-time great game.
We've probably never seen a comeback like this in the history of Jeopardy, and that's fairly long, even on this stage.
Talk about how you were feeling after the first part of the game, where it didn't really go your way.
I still think you had 18 correct responses, but you were pretty far down a 40,000-point win for your competition, one baddie after another.
Yeah, I mean, it really comes down to they were just so, so good that you feel almost helpless when you're going up against a team that's that strong.
So I don't even think we were disappointed in our own knowledge of the board or anything.
It's just that it's really hard having come this far when we thought we knew a good number of the answers to not quite be able to perform like we wanted to.
I maybe, I will cop to being a little bit negative, more negative than I should have been.
I was having flashbacks of my loss on regular Jeopardy when you just sort of, in retrospect, you see the path and it's, I get this question right and then I bounce to this, which I would somehow in this universe know is the daily double and then I would double.
And you replay these things and...
I told Henry when we had our first loss in the tournament and he was upset, I said, I didn't tell you this in all of our prep, but losing feels really, really bad, even after you've won.
You don't ever really stop reliving the game flow.
And I think that got into my head quite a bit.
And I felt like I personally, out of the two of us, had sort of screwed up our path in the game flow of round one.
Which is, you know, empirically false, but it's very generous of Jack to say that.
I also think that, you know, being down by such an amount, like, in a weird way, even though it was frustrating, it was almost relaxing, because it's like, you know, Hail Mary is the easiest play call possible, because you need it.
