What are you most proud of in your career?
[clears throat] That's-- There are a lot of things that come to mind when I think about my career and what I'm proud of.
Um, so I'm an internal-- for those of you who may not know, I'm an internal medicine physician in Fishers.
Um, and so I practice primary care with Ascension, and the things that have meant the most to me in my career are the relationships that I've built with patients.
I mean, obviously it's, it's a great feeling to make the right diagnosis, you know, and to, um...
I always say that my big win in the day is when a patient comes in and we go through everything that we have to talk about, and I say, "Well, this is what I think we should do," and they say, "That's what I read on AI," right? So that's always a big win because, um, you know, [laughs] we have stiff competition these days.
But really, beyond all that, it's the relationships I've developed with patients.
I love to hear, um, what's i- what is concerning to them, what is important to them.
And the best thing, when I walk out of a room-- the-- last week I walked out of a room and, uh, the patient said to me, "I just, this was so much fun." I mean, who has fun going to the doctor, right?
But she said, "This was just so much fun." And I was like, you know, beyond helping her with her medical issues, it made her feel better about her day, and that's what I enjoy, and that's what I'm proud of, that those relationships that I've established and the ability to listen to them and to help them, not just with their medical issues, but with other things that they face in life.
Wonderful.
Thank you.
Sheriff Forestal, I wanna ask you the same question.
