Recap: Clark named Player of the Game in World Cup Debut as Team USA Rolls Past China

Team USA opened FIBA Women’s World Cup group play with a dominant 94-61 win over China, getting contributions throughout its deep roster. Making her World Cup debut, **Caitlin Clark** came off the bench and was named Player of the Game after finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds. All 12 U.S. players played at least 12 minutes and scored, while **Aliyah Boston** added seven points and two rebounds. In my postgame recap, I break down Clark’s debut, Team USA’s depth and what stood out from the opening win. They return to action Sunday against Italy.
