So how do we as an organization tackle it and is it good or is it bad? so from a simple perspective a decent degree of politics is necessary for the organization to flourish and to grow what we call is in the office politics measurement scale we have our own system which measures an organization on a scale of 10 when 10 is very high level of office politics and one is almost negligible we believe that about six to seven is a reasonable number positioning or in the scale where you should be your HR practitioners would definitely have some system of measuring office politics in your organization and you should try and gauge why you know they feel that the organization is at a particular stage so why do we say that about six or seven is a reasonable stage to be in from a measurement scale the point is politics is trying to position the individual the group the task or the project in the eyes of the people who are taking decisions or are able to influence that project to be successful.

the concept that work will speak for itself is very rarely recognized it is the influencing the positioning or if i were to put it in a simplistic manner it is the marketing that you know positions or brings the product in front of the people who can take decisions so not only are we saying that the person or the individual is trying to do what they are doing but they're also trying to market themselves what we are using the term is politics for people to be able to see that, people to be able to recognize that or people to be able to put resources in flourishing this.
