Guys, do you also think that Legacy is right now in a pretty weird spot, to be honest? It feels not really natural at the moment.

Because most of the time I was at the receiving end of some kind of fantastic combo or show-and-tell Emrakul into my face, something like that.

It's so sad that you say suddenly it feels healthy or what did you say? Natural.

We are already used to that it not being natural because legacy was so natural back in the days and not anymore.

It almost feels like... yeah because it certainly does it's like we had this whole chain of very high potent bands or high potent printings of cards like a fantastic frog a psychic frog a fantastic frog oh my god imagine something like that

But yeah, for real, in my opinion, the meta has now slowed down a lot through this chain of banner-restricted announcements in the last couple, I don't want to say years, but in the last year in and of itself.

Yeah, I mean, with Fantastica, the best combo deck kind of got out, and Blue-Black as a deck got a lot of tools to leverage, I think, quite a little bit of a longer game.

And with the recent printing in the Lord of Drinks set in The Hobbit, we got another really potent card that lets you grind... crew, your games, and casting F4Cs each turn is something that not a single combo deck wants to see.

So I kind of feel like we've got a new forerunner back again on the throne of the legacy format in blue-black.

And with all the new blue things going around, I think the resurgent of quote-unquote fair is back in the mental game.

I mean, when we're talking about fair and legacy, it's always a pretty, pretty high bar because in legacy, fair means, yeah, you get killed by combat damage through creatures and over several turns.

I think that's pretty, pretty, their definition of fair and unfair is everything that just kills you in one turn.

so that doesn't speak really or that doesn't say a lot about the power level of the individual cards right so fair can mean something very different if you're coming from standard or if you're coming from modern for sure so we are very heavy right now in a fair meta game is this what you also think

yeah yeah exactly just that all the cards that you deal with are on the highest power level that you can imagine of course But besides that and by that standard, yes, everything is quite fair.
