is bigger because when i was doing it before as a volunteer like once a month it was like a song i led like i didn't carry the weight of the team and the spiritual atmosphere of having to like directing yes like all of that just it completely gave me open eyes to see like just how much weight worship leaders really carry And a lot of times we look at it.

I just had this conversation too with Alessia where I was like, I think that a lot of times in especially American church culture, we can get very formulaic in our service flow where it's like, okay, we have to do this fast, upbeat song and then like a medium type song.

And it's like, I don't know, like sometimes it's, you know, is that really what is best for our people? Is that really what God is speaking to us this week? Is that really where the Holy Spirit wants to go in this? Because it's not about us.

And And, you know, you want it to be an environment where people can express themselves to God and make it about his goodness and his glory and his name and everything.

So even just that side of it has been such a humbling challenge to take on absolutely

I had a conversation with Jordan and we were talking and kind of laughing about that because it like you said it's very formulaic in that you're almost telling God like okay God you've got about 30 seconds to let the spirit move in this congregation before we need to move on to the next song hope you're okay with that yeah I mean, that's crazy.

If you only have so much time, I mean, you want to you either need to lessen the amount of songs that you do, leaving more space for proper.

I guess it just depends on who you have, you know, the type of church you have.
