They would look back on what they had received on a Sunday in, when the corporate worship of God's people, the things that were preached and sung and talked about, and then they would improve upon it, which is an old English way of saying taking it and digging it in deep, meditating upon it in the best sense of that, rolling it around in the mind, talking to one another about things they, uh, well, sang, heard, and read.
Also, th- all for the reason that that word would grow deeper in them, and they would grow in their own godliness, and that's what we're trying to do on our podcast.
For you, our handful of listeners, we are very excited to consider and apply what we've heard to lead us into more delight in God, to His glory, and the good of you and everybody else.

Before we get rolling, Christian, why don't you pray and ask the Lord to bless this time?
Father, we thank you for this past Sunday when we were able to gather as your people and hear your word preached, sing to each other, sing to you, and to pray.
Father, what a gift it is to have a church to worship you with, and we pray that this time now as we reflect upon this past Sunday, the service and everything in it, that it would be a blessing to all those who listen, that it would not only be something that is enjoyed, but that it sparks, uh, further thoughts and reflections about what we do each and every Lord's day.
