I am an entry-level professional working under a new boss who has a very specific way of communicating and executing work.

I know that it's important to develop mentors in an early career position, but I have struggled to connect with her.

I've noticed that even small deviations in language or approach are met with strong criticism, and I'm finding it difficult to balance staying true to my own working style while meeting her expectations.

How can I adapt without feeling like I'm losing my voice or confidence at work, and how do I make sure I find people who really have my back and help me grow my career?
