Ep 70 - Teaching Water Confidence

I love the ocean.

I find it really calming.

And so being in it, I feel like it's just really restorative.

So did that make you very

intentional about thinking about how to teach her how to swim? Yes.

Because she's right at the A. I mean, is she swimming yet or not really? She's

swimming.

She's a real risk taker.

And so I think that's also why it's incredibly crucial that your kid has enough skill set to be able to.

Because she's the one that would just go jump in.

a hundred percent like if you're at

the public pool or if you run away from

me yes

and she'll just go jump in even not caring if she can or can't swim and those are the kids you've got caring

and not thinking through what that looks like and this is kind of i

cannot wait till she's a teenager

speed ahead i know really good things to look forward to yeah don't worry it's gonna work out great for her overestimates her confidence level and ability level at the same time so yeah We knew Ms.

Run needed to actually have some foundational skills.

But we didn't start as early as I know some people do.

We waited until she was about a year and a half.

was fully walking before you started? Fully

walking.

She was saying agua all the time.
