Moving on with the show, do you ever feel like you're constantly rushing but you're never actually getting anywhere? Do you feel like you're on a hamster wheel, a Groundhog Day, where every day is so similar and you're full of tasks and responsibilities and to-do lists? Most women that join Thrive Academy start off feeling like this.

Women come to me saying they want to lose weight, get fit, be strong, and when we dig deeper, it's always also to not feel as overwhelmed, to stop feeling so guilty.

They wanna stop feeling like they're carrying the world on their shoulders, and I hear things like, "I can't see the wood from the trees.

I feel like I'm only here to look after everyone else." This is what I hear all the time from women that join Thrive Academy.

And what happens with all of us is that we feel all these feelings, and it just becomes like we're taking care of everyone else, and we also want to get fit and healthy, feel calm, and feel good in our clothes.

And what's really difficult a- about that is you're just about keeping all the balls in the air, and then you decide you want to start getting fit.

And the problem with that then is you get going, and it becomes too hard to manage, and you feel like you're failing.

So the first thing that goes isn't all the responsibilities and the tasks that you have.

It's the stuff that you were going to focus on that was gonna get you fit and healthy.

It's that you're trying to build healthy habits on top of a life that's already overflowing.

And most women think that they need to get motivated, eat better, exercise more, feel better.

But what I see always is that there's a real need there to reduce the overwhelmcreate some breathing room, feel calmer.

And as like I always say about the shaky foundations, I love that analogy so much.

Um, it reminds me of myself so much that when you're trying to build healthy habits on shaky foundations of stress and overwhelm and an all or nothing mindset, it doesn't matter how great your intentions are, you're never going to get where you want to be.
