Um, but maybe the grass was very long as well, much longer than it will be on a race day because they haven't been a- able to get onto the course to cut it.
Um, what do we, how do we measure up the performance with the track conditions today, the trial performance?
I heard David say the grass was long, but [laughs] they've, they've all still gotta run over it, don't they? He's not the only one.
Yeah, I guess on, on race, on race day it'll be much shorter, I guess is the point.
Look, look, I think the biggest thing for him come race day, a- and Tempted is a very, very good horse.
But if it's a wet track, she could actually bridge the gap more because we don't know what he's gonna do on a very heavy track.
Although David has said he's seen him trial in a, on a wet track overseas and he loved it.
Sometimes, um, trialing on wet tracks isn't the same as racing on a wet track because there's no pressure.
Well, let's talk about they don't want more rain, and I guess they would like it to be as much like Hong Kong as possible, and that is a much faster, firmer surface so he can get out and do his thing, I guess.
