Marina StrykerGuestOrsi SaboHostBrookePanelistWhat was it about, like, that experience that made you wanna do, like, Cocodona maybe, or what makes you wanna go this long? There's, like, 50K world, 100 mile world, and then there's the 200 mile world, which is like a different world.

When I did the Divide 200, I signed up and I told my husband, I said, "Don't come out and crew me for the 200, like the Divide.

I don't have the heart to make you come out and wait at every aid station to crew me." Like, no.

Uh, my friend Steve came out and paced me for a good section, and then, um, the tail end, a good friend from Arizona who I met at the race, she had DNF'd earlier, and she paced me to the finish.

And, uh, what happened there was I realized if I can race a Divide 200 uncrewed, I could probably do a 250 crewed and with a pacer again as well.

So even though when I finished the Divide, I was like, "I'm never signing up for another 200.

That last section to the finish was so hard." But when you recover, this weird thing, it's like having kids, you forget the pain.

And funny enough, like, time does heal, and it's amazing when registration times come up for certain races and you look at your laptop, you're like, "Okay, it opens up at 7:00.

I'm gonna take a chance and see if I can get in." So when Cocodona opened up last year in May, I sat on my laptop right at 7:00 AM.
