Care Is a Justice Issue

Welcome to this week's episode of How's Your Boomer? I'm really excited to have Nicole Jorwick, the Chief Program Officer at Caring Across Generations, here to talk with me today.

I was introduced to caring across generations and the work that they do, because once you start digging into this caregiving space and thinking about aging and supporting those who are aging in a thoughtful, meaningful way, you cannot ignore the work of caring across generations and what they've set out to do to shift policy and awareness in the care space.

I also got to meet Nicole in person at the Caravan event that was in Brooklyn in May.

And she was there sharing about Caring Across Generations with folks that were there and also talking about a new campaign, which we're going to get into today.

That was a lot of good vibes and important conversations.

It was.

It went too quickly.

We could have been there talking for days, but I think it really underscored the reason why there needs to be more of this, that there's a real desire for it.
