Um, were you are wearing many hats in the creation? Of course, you're writing and directing.

So how did you come up with the idea, and how did you put yourself into those roles?

... which is where I was born, um, and spent the first 16 years of my life, and Lagos traffic is notorious.

... choke-full with cars and people and noisy and hot, and just like a sensory experience.

And I thought, you know, I know I wanna tell a story about my city, my birthplace, and I want to tell it about women in Lagos.

And, and I wanted to create this character who thrived in this chaos, um, who like found energy in it, who moved through the city, um, and really create a complex female character.

And so that was the first idea, and it kinda me- metamorphosized into a portrait of the city and a woman who represents that city.

Um, and then the second was, as I said, really wanting to place women at the center of the story.

So I don't feel that there have been enough stories about, you know, female characters, particularly in this perspective.

And particularly, I, I would say female characters who live on the margins of society.
