School is out, and overcast, rainy days in our area have given way to clearer skies and warmer temperatures.
There are so many reasons to enjoy this time of year in Seattle, King County, and western Washington.
From the boisterous fans inside Seattle Stadium, to colorful, elated crowds filling downtown streets and restaurants, to big screen watch parties popping up from as far south as Olympia and as far north as Bellingham, the World Cup has already made this a season to remember.
And for six kiddos that are part of United Way's supported organization 4C Coalition, it's about to get even better.
The youths have been chosen to serve as flag bearers for the World Cup Round of 32 matchup on July 1st at Seattle Stadium.
