You said not allowed to be yourself, which I think is something that so many people can resonate with.

Because we put ourselves in these situations, especially when it comes to relationships, where we think we have to act a certain way or we have to dress a certain way.

We put ourselves in the box to please that partner or to please that partner's family.

Uncle was still working at the time and my aunt wanted to get a tattoo in memory of him, which my aunt, two cousins and I, we all have the same tattoo in memory of my grandpa.

And then she went out and she was buying all of these big bracelets because my uncle at the time wanted was a senior VP in a large financial company.

So going to events, she was not ashamed, but she didn't want people to see that tattoo.

I've done it in dressing different ways or changing aspects of myself to please people.

And we have to realize that We're doing everyone, including ourselves, a disservice when we're not true to ourselves.
And I think it all comes back to the overall big message of living life to the fullest.
