Well, this is just an organizational dumpster fire from the top down.

Agreed.

I think we knew in the off-season when Carly Irsay decided to keep Ballard and Shane around for another year that this was not gonna turn out well.

And even though we might've had some decent hopes going into today, this thing was just, like you said, an absolute bloodbath.

Colts come out, you know, go march right down the field.

You know, whether that drive was scripted and we just went down there and executed, I guess we'll never know unless Steichen comes out and says it, but we looked good.

Had some hopes there to start the game and then here comes the defense onto the field, which, as you stated, was always probably gonna be the problem.

So, you know, not a whole lot of good takeaway from today.

And looking at the schedule, I mean, I think I had us eight and nine, nine and eight for the season.

It's gonna be hard to see any more than six wins in this, this schedule for me.

I mean, it is hard not to look at this team after that performance.

Now, I know it's week one.

We're all gonna overreact.

They did clean some stuff up in the second half, which for us I think had a lot to do with Zay Flowers going down with that hammy at the end of the first half.

But I don't know.

I think it's optimistic to look at, like, six and 11.

I mean, we just looked at the schedule.

I mean, this is not a cupcake schedule to start with.

I mean, the first realistic game to win, where you're gonna be a favorite, is, like, in week six against the Titans at home.

I mean, these first games, I mean, you're, you're on national TV at KC next week.

Uh, you know, historically we've played them well, but, you know, you got Mahomes back.

You know, with our defense looking the way it did today, we're definitely gonna be a big dog in that one.
