Yeah
... what does school or not school look like in your home during the summer?
So we're definitely a little more lax, and if the kids have finished their workbooks, we use Life Pac by AOP, and so they've got their 10 little workbooks.
If they're done, it's not like I'm gonna go ahead and start on the next grade, but I also, I don't, I don't, they don't have to do every single page.
Once they've mastered a concept, then, you know, I might just X through, like, you don't have to do that.
I know that you know how to do this, so move on.
So we're definitely a little more laid back and less structured, but I, I don't necessarily need that delineation of school's out, so we do, we do kind of school year-round.
Yeah.
And I don't love summer.
I don't love extreme temperatures, period.
Yeah.
I have autoimmune disorders, and two of them make me extremely heat intolerant, and so I, I struggle a little bit in the summer.
Like, even today when I, it's, we're in May as we're recording this, and even this morning when I went to let the dogs and the chickens out, I was like, "Ugh, no. It's already so hot."
[laughs]
So I do struggle.
I'm a spring and fall girly.
I love when the temperatures are more moderate, but, like, you can still go to the pool.
Like, we take our beach trips in September every year because for us, that's the sweet spot.
The water's had time to warm up all summer, and it's not too, but it's not too warm.
So-
And we homeschool, so we can go whenever we want.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So we will still do, finish up our workbooks.
I mean, we're on the tail end.
Yeah
