The first card is Bilbo's Gambit.

One generic and a white instant, gift a treasure.

You may promise an opponent a gift as you cast the spell.

If you do, they create a treasure token before its other effects.

It's an artifact with tap, sacrifice this token, add one mana of any color.

And then what the card actually does after you gift the treasure is return target spell to its owner's hand.

If the gift was promised, players can't cast spells this turn.

Note that this is players, not opponents, so it counts you too.

Yeah.

I mean, silence is everybody.

So this is a cool card

for a couple reasons.

So Reprieve was a card that you see in like...

Tier 4 and lower play, not very often in CDH.

Usually if someone's playing CDH, they're either running red or blue to where they have actual counterspells or red elemental blasts.

Reprieve for 2 is not... great in CEDH for white.

That being said, it's cool that white has more options now.

Like a, I'm going to silence you and then also, or I'm going to return your spell to your hand and also silence you is pretty good.

This is exactly the same mana cost as reprieve, just silences everybody and you give somebody a treasure.

So like, Usually if you're trying to silence somebody, it's kind of a like, okay, well, this person's about to win.

You that's behind, I'll give you a treasure.

If I give you a treasure, can you hold that up for interaction on the next person's turn so that we get another turn?

A lot of politics with it, kind of.

To give out a treasure and stuff.

I just think if you're going to silence, there's a lot better options.
