Anyone who's played a full 18 holes of golf knows you need to reset, refuel, and refocus before heading into the back nine. Well, midlife works the same way, says this week's guest, OG Peloton…
Jenn ShermanGuestCeline YeagerHostYou are listening to Hit Play, Not Pause, a feisty menopause podcast for active, performance-minded women.
Each week, I bring you advice from athletes, scientists, researchers, and other experts to help you feel and perform your best, no matter what your hormones are doing.
So, anyone who has played a full 18 holes of golf knows that you do not play the back nine the same way you play the front nine.
You've been playing for a good while at that point, so you need to rest, reset, refuel, assess where you are here midway through the game, and then go into the back nine with intention.

She's an OG instructor, and she joined the company at age 45 after years as a stay-at-home mom.
Now, at 57, she is still going strong in the studio cycling scene, and she has built out what she calls her back nine era playbook, where she's all about focusing on what serves her for the time she has left.
The challenges, the opportunities, the adjustments that we all go through as we enter our back nine here.
And I just really, I really do actually love that metaphor for this season of our existence.
And I will link those in the show notes to make it easy for you to check them out.
Speaking of checking out, we are closing in on Feisty Fest, our first big women's sports festival being held right here in my home in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
If you have not gotten your tickets yet, head into the show notes, get one now.
