How To Be Modest Without Being Arrogant

Many people, when they think of modesty, haya, they just think of clothing.

In the Quran, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala describes haya.

He attaches this modesty, this quality of modesty.

He attaches it to somebody's actions.

He attaches it to speech.

He attaches it to clothing.

All of the above.

For example, the woman who eventually marries Musa alayhi salam.

Allah says in the Quran, One of the two sisters come to him walking modestly.

What's a modest walk? Yeah, it's a shy walk.

It's a walk where you're not trying to flaunt everything.

You're trying to contain yourself.

Allah describes the modesty, the shyness of the Prophet ﷺ.
