I was getting to the office hours early in the morning just to do notes from the night before.

staying two hours late, dealing with coding, billing, and all those other issues.

And I just could not see myself lasting in medicine for another 20 years at that rate.

So my husband and I were doing some traveling and we came to New Zealand and Australia just as a trip in 2009 and literally fell in love with the country and the peacefulness, the people, how Just the lifestyle that we seem to see the Kiwis having.

And so we started poking around and looking into it and found a locum position.

I fell utterly and totally in love with the practice of medicine in New Zealand specifically and stayed there for almost four years.

And so we made a decision, but we were dedicated to staying overseas and kind of divested at that point from the United States and So moving across the ditch to Australia was definitely the best option.
