I was watching something, and it, it was very clear to me, because a lot of people get into situationships or relationships based on, like, the potential, right? Um, a lot of people get into a b- based on the potential.
And I just wanna say this.
You are going to waste your life trying to change somebody to who you want them to be.
Oh, okay.
You need to accept them for who they are.
Like, when you meet somebody, and they gave you that they drive a box Chevy and a Bubba Caprice, and they credit is 200, or, well, 450, that's who they are.
Yeah, you could, you could help them upgrade.
But baby, that's who they are.
I think that goes with this little thing that's going viral right now.
A guy had made a post.
He was like, "People are dating outside of their league." So it's like, what you were saying, how people need to accept people, and, like, people who, like, get in a relationship and then try to change the person.
If you date, if you were dating someone in your league, maybe you wouldn't have to, like, change them.
Is that kinda what you mean?
No, because that, that's like...
No, no, no. 'Cause that's like somebody dating someone who is, like, well educated, has a lot of money, has, has, like, their whole life together, and you're just kinda, like, living paycheck to ch- paycheck kinda thing.
That's, like, out of your league kinda thing.
I'm saying, like, a lot of people will date somebody in the hopes that they can change them.
Like, if you came in saying-
Oh
... "Oh, I don't, I never wanna have no kids," and I'm just like, "Oh, one day I could change his mind," people do that with other situations.
Like, "Oh, I hope they stop treating me this way," "I hope they stop cheating," or, "I hope they want more from themselves," or, or, or have some type of possess- not possess, but more, um, um, self-awareness or j- a drive.
When you meet that person, you have to understand right then and there.
There, there are times where they may grow and change, but when you meet them, that's who they are.
And if you can't accept them for who they are right then and there, then babe, don't waste your time.
Like, move on.
