Q4 is my absolute favorite time to go into hibernation mode, tune out the outside noise, and actually go inwards to plan ahead. If you’re tired of being reactive, stressing over random expenses…

This is the time where I usually go into hibernation mode from, like, outside social events, connecting with people, and I really go inwards.

So I want you to ask yourself, "Where and when do I wanna go on vacation?" Where do you wanna spend money in the next year? What months in 2026 did cash feel tight? How many new clients can you handle? How many old clients do you need to let go of? How many of my existing clients do I feel like I get anxious with, I don't wanna get on a call with, they just feel very hard to deal with? Make a list of those clients.

Now ask yourself, how do you feel about your pricing? How do you feel about your offers? Do you need to change up things? Has there been a lot of out-of-scope work you've been doing for clients but not billing them for? Ask yourself, are you paying yourself enough? What months did you feel like you weren't able to pay yourself? Or did you feel like you were comfortable paying yourself every single month? Now ask yourself, if anything was possible, what would you want 2027 to look like? It could be in terms of, like, revenue goals, profit goals, number of clients, maybe even the amount of time that you work.
