Today you are joining me, Chloe Davidson, as we journey through what it actually took to get my beautiful son Cooper in my arms.

And so this episode is not just talking about what it took to get him here, which was a big helping hand from my incredible doctor, Dr. Ki Ong, who worked tirelessly to find answers for me and my husband on why we had had four consecutive miscarriages post the birth of my daughter, Layla, five years ago.

This episode is my birth experience and ultimately what it actually feels like to finally hold a miracle in your arms that you were never honestly really sure that you would get to hold.

I have deeply appreciated it and I'm not sure I would have gotten through everything without the care of the community where we lean on each other and tell these stories.

to learn more about my journey to Cooper, You can go back and listen to either of my previous episodes.

My first episode was in season one and it dives deeply into my four miscarriages, my journey with infertility, the IVF and all my immune treatments that I underwent while I was also supporting my husband through his cancer treatment.

just post a very scary thing that had happened to me, which was to have my gallbladder removed and surgery and put under whilst pregnant with my miracle baby that had taken three years for miscarriages, multiple rounds of IVF to finally make.

You really struggle to be able to connect with that pregnancy, or at least I did, because I was so scared that if something was going to happen, it was likely that it could happen to me.

But we made it through that gallbladder surgery and we came out even stronger.

And basically that pops us up right in the middle of my timeline, which is around that 20 weeks I had recovered.

And I started to be able to believe that maybe this could actually become a thing.
