You probably realize that when you are an entrepreneur, the relationship issues, whatever it is, the communication problems or skills or strengths, whatever your background is, it comes into your business.

And your business is almost like a mirror, which is what makes this whole thing freaking hard.

But one of the things I see a lot, and this is something that was a huge, huge struggle for me, is this scarcity issue.

And I would always approach my business for many, many years with the idea of, well, will this make me money? And it's not that you don't think about that, because of course, right, you need it to be profitable.

You want to make sure that you are fairly compensated for your time, your ideas, your creativity.

This is more along the lines of having a short-sightedness so you don't invest your time or your money in things that would allow you to actually grow much faster and further.

Because we've kind of been trained, especially in this, you know, bro marketing world, you've seen it a lot.

Will this make me money? If it doesn't immediately make me money, then I don't want to do it.

But the problem is, is that some of the stuff that actually helps you the most long term, that takes away a lot of the effort that you're putting in, is money that comes later from stuff that you didn't immediately realize.

I have seen so many examples of this from retreats that I went to because I just wanted to expand personally or I wanted to meet more entrepreneurs and then getting clients from that later.

You know, I didn't start them because I was expecting them to be huge money makers, but they became the main way that I have gotten clients, students, visibility.

And the thing I see so much with those people who have done exceptionally well in a sustainable way, not overnight, not because they're in pyramid schemes, the way they think about money is different.

It's almost like they approach stuff first in a way of what builds relationships and what multiplies my reach naturally.

Will this multiply my reach or will this build relationships rather than will this bring me money? But I've seen people on the other end, and this was me for many, many years, where we don't see the immediate payback.
