I will say though, it wasn't the tickets though.

I remember when I got off of that phone call, I said to Ramon, I said, she's going to be my best friend.

I had never met her, but I just, when you know, you know, and it's like, whether you're starting a business or whether you're starting a relationship, you have to trust that knowing.

And I didn't go into it with a graspy thing of like, be my best friend.

It was like,

Because you can tell when someone's a fan and trying to ride your coattails or trying to get proximity to success.

And that was not the energy.

The energy really was friendship, not I want something from you.

And so that's why I said yes.

And by the way, I didn't think of myself as anyone to fangirl over at the time.

I really didn't.

I was just kind of like, I just feel like a regular person.

See, I see talent, okay? I see, you know, I see the vision, okay? I see where we're going, okay? But it's like there is no way that I would be here in my life if it weren't for someone like you who went before me and someone who willingly every day decides to bet on themselves.

I think it's why one of the reasons why watching your premiere last night was so emotional, you know, because I know the price that you pay.

to put yourself out there.

Because every time you put yourself out there, it's a little time away from those three amazing kids and amazing husband of yours.
