It was a conference on a cruise ship [laughs] out in the Caribbean, and I was listening to her talk and I turned to my friend and I said, "Man, she, who is this woman? She's so articulate, so funny, so good, so relatable." And my friend goes, "Well, she's an endocrinologist." And I was like, "No, she's not." [laughs]
And in my, in my, in my experience, endocrinologists don't seem to come across like you, which I joke, I joke.
I'm like, "You're not like a regular endocrinologist, you're a cool endocrinologist."
And that's, that's what we're gonna get into today because you have a brand-new book, Hormones in Sync, and I love the subtitle.
The subtitle is An Endocrinologist's Guide to Reclaiming Your Energy, Joy, and Health, and it's that joy factor I'm obviously gonna come back around to.
But I just really wanna welcome you today, and as a, an endocrinologist that's like, like more of a functional endocrinologist, like that's what I wanna get into in how you approach your patients.

Yeah, I'm so excited to be here, and it was so wonderful meeting you on that hormone cruise on a ship.

I was telling my friends, "I'm going on a hormone cruise." They're like, "What's a hormone cruise?" [laughs]
