[upbeat music] Is AI killing open source software? It actually reminds me of a talk I did really early in my career, which I was worried that giving maintainers paid jobs working on open source was gonna kill open source.
I concluded that if you got paid to do something and they stopped paying you, you might switch projects, but it didn't kill motivation.
I think we're facing a different problem now with maintainer burnout and just the amount of usage of, of things that are written by a few people is a very different problem.
