Wow.

When you, right before you had your encounter, were you still agnostic?

I was a believer, but I had a crisis of faith.

I had become an agnostic.

In fact, I tried to disprove all religions at a major university with a fellow team of atheists and agnostics.

So that's how ardent I was.

I was like a Saul before Paul type of agnostic.

And then my wife and I were sitting in a coffee shop.

We had lost everything, as I mentioned, just about everything.

And I was paying $1,000 a day for my daughter and then cutting checks for $5,000, $10,000 money that we didn't have really after a while.

And I said to my wife in the coffee shop at a crisis of faith, I said, well, we've lost just about everything, but at least we have our health.

When two weeks later, I was dead.

Wow.

It was a point, and I think that's, Abby, why the spiritual warfare.

Because there are a number of people who have different experiences in terms of seeing going into this kind of otherworldly space before being ushered before heaven.

There was something that had to be reconciled before I could go into the presence of Jesus and into heaven.

And that was crying out the name of Jesus Christ.

Mm-hmm.

And it's amazing, having interviewed now people who have gone on to hell and who've had experiences that were not necessarily pleasant, that just crying out the name of Jesus Christ, the power in that name, caused me to be side by side and eventually face to face with him.

And by the way, when he looked in my eyes...

And I'm just saying this because this is how he sees us.

He looked at me as though I was the most important person in the world.

And I knew there are billions of people that are...

in his realm of providence however that's the way he looks at us as though we're the most i've never felt that way from anyone in my life as though he was entirely devoted to me that that's amazing to me absolutely incredible
