Today I'm delighted to be talking to Professor Enoch Akowuah, who is a cardiac surgeon, cardiac surgery professor from the University of Newcastle.

He's very keen on prehabilitation in cardiac surgery for cardiac surgery patients, and he's written a state-of-the-art review all about what prehab means, what exactly it is, how it's delivered, and he also talks about the evidence base for it in patients, uh, who are waiting for cardiac surgery, and also a large multi-center NIHR-funded trial that he's gonna be leading, which is starting very soon.
