Brian HelfandGuestJordan CooperHostSo Brian, as the associate chief science officer, I'm sure you have a lot of things on your plate.
Today we're gonna talk about clinical trials, specifically, uh, how you're, uh, working to improve access to clinical trials and the latest treatments, uh, outside of major medical, medical centers in major cities.

Um, and, and I think our issues are, are uniform really throughout a lot of the country.

We are part of eight different academic institutions, uh, in Chicago, and, you know, it's finding our footprint and, and remaining competitive.

Um, we personally are, um, part of a large network, uh, that, you know, as you said, we have nine hospitals in our system.

Um, and so how do you keep patients in the system? How do you use, um, clinical trials as one of those main attractions that not only, uh, gives the care that I think patients deserve, uh, but also, um, you know, attracts patients and, and from a, you know, kind of a business-minded sense, how are we retaining that and not losing those patients, uh, to other sites where they believe may have different trials, different, you know, technologies, et cetera? So that's really where clinical trial space, uh, is.

Um, we want to, a- and certainly have, uh, proven ourselves that we have the ability to offer clinical trials, the latest, greatest care to ... on top of already outstanding care, uh, throughout a large hospital system.
