First and foremost, we've got, of course, not, not the best news, but FEHB premiums are scheduled to go up to almost 11% on average starting 2027.
It doesn't mean your specific plan will, but that's the average.
We'll talk about that more in depth.
And as of right now, a 0% raise for the average fed is scheduled.
Now, for law enforcement and military, there's actually a raise scheduled.
But we'll see what actually happens when budgets and things get settled.
But for now, it's not looking good because what it does mean-- Let's go ahead and get to the next slide.
What it does mean is that prices of course go up.
If you have a family plan, right, it's 40 bucks or so a paycheck, less if you have self-only and, um, self plus one, and of course, that's multiplied over 26 paychecks.
That really adds up over time.
Now, one thing I wanna keep in mind, we looked at the average is about an 11% increase for all FEHB plans.
But that again ignores the outliers, meaning this plan, for example, MH-MHBP Standard is increasing price by double.
That's huge.
GEH High is actually going down in price.
So you wanna make sure you understand what plan do you have, how are the scheduled premiums going to impact you.
That's going to be huge.
I won't hit all this a ton, but long story short, there's some weight loss drugs covered.
Um, you have to bring proof of eligibility, blah, blah, blah.
Look at your specific plan.
That's what actually matters.
Open season, of course, November 9th through December 14th.
Those are the big ones.
