Hawks Trade Rumors ESCALATING... | Daily Hawks News & Rumors

Reading a little bit about some rumors that one destination for Buddy Heald could end up being Charlotte's.

And we could end up swapping him for Dorian Finney-Smith.

Finney-Smith has been pretty underwhelming.

I mean, when I lived in Texas, he was there with the Mavs.

People say he's got a lot of potential.

I mean, he's 33 years old, so I think at this point that ship's probably set sail.

But yeah, averaged three points, two rebounds last year with Houston.

But it looks like it'd just be more of a salary swap because, you know, Heald has 9.7 guaranteed, I believe.

I believe it's three if we waive him, 9.7 guaranteed if he plays this season.

But that could be a destination for Heald.

And then, you know, I don't know if we'd keep Dorian Finney-Smith very long.

For some reason, I always feel like I feel like he was younger than that, 33.

But I guess he's someone who's just kind of been in the league for a long time.

And again, underwhelming.

And you kind of, yeah, Dorian Finney-Smith, he kind of shows up here and there.

Yeah, for some reason, I was thinking he was like a third year player, but that is definitely not at 33.

So there's not a whole lot there to talk about other than the fact that, you know, that they'd be looking to just move Heald.

But again, we've got that the roster problems we need to fix.

You know, get down to 15 training camp coming up here, I believe next week, maybe the end of this week into next week.

So there's some options.

But not I mean, it's not not really like a blockbuster trade.

Dorian Finney-Smith for Buddy Heald.
