To all my fellow busybodies who can't seem to force themselves to take a relaxing vacation because you have to see and do all of the things because you want to make the most of your time - I see you…
And also, as a reminder, tomorrow, I think, I think tomorrow by the time this episode comes out, um, but it is the official Plan for a Vacation Day.
But January 26th is the official Plan for a Vacation Day every single year.
And I fully approve of the date chosen because at the start of the new year, I think we all just kinda need a minute to get back into the swing of things.
I'm ready to plan, and I also wanna start planning it before the end of January, so boom, let's go January 26th." [laughs] So I've been talking about planning your vacation for this year since, like, early December.
So I hope that maybe you've already got a vacation booked or maybe you've already started, and if so, go you.
But if you haven't been ready, if you've just been, like, surviving through the holidays and getting through the beginning of the year but you're ready now, maybe you're ready to start on January 26th, then I've got five or six episodes that you can go back and listen to right now to meet you wherever you're at to get you headed in the right direction of planning that vacation.
Seriously, we talk about all of the things like how to stop not taking vacations, so if you feel like a vacation isn't possible for you for whatever reason, that's definitely a must-listen.
Uh, we also talk about how to choose the best time to take off from work and, and then also a mindset shift to, to take on board that has to do with taking off from work, so there's two episodes there that are definitely good if that sounds appealing to you.
And also, I brought you my vacation bucket list challenge, which is where I help you list, score, and rank your bucket list so that you have an idea of where you should focus on for your next vacation that is not only exciting you and making you, like, really, really wanna go there, but it's also a match for whatever season of, of life you're in right now.
