If you've ever found yourself scrambling to get everything done before a trip—then returning home to a chaotic house, an overflowing inbox, and zero groceries—you're not alone. That last stretch…
So these were things I had to do to step away from my role as a mom, a fur mom, a business owner, a vacation planner.
So in the areas of work, life, and being a caretaker, I had so much prep work to do to be able to take this vacation.
And I have talked about this on the show before that a lot of times the sheer amount of work that you have to do to just to be able to go on a vacation makes people not even want to take a vacation.
It's a ton of work, especially in hindsight, me looking back at everything I handled before leaving.
But also, it's 100% worth it to be able to take a break from work and home life and being a caretaker to feel like yourself again and to have some fun and see something new and be inspired.
So if you feel that way, if you're someone that feels like it's not worth all the extra work I have to do to go take a vacation for a week, And then all the work that's going to be waiting on me when I get home.
And go check out some of the previous chats we've had on this topic in the summary of this episode.
But anyways, today I thought I would share with you all of the things that I have had to do and just my thoughts on prenatal.
So today I'm going to walk you through my non-negotiable pre-vacation prep routine.
So again, these are things on my list in addition to the last minute vacation planning prep and in addition to outfit planning and packing.
And I'm going to kind of share a my personal perspective, but also try to keep it somewhat neutral because I hope that hearing this is going to help you make your own list.
Because I think the goal with these lists are to avoid the pre-vacation stress.
Or if we put off something before our vacation that we really should have handled, then we have that stress put on us after our vacation.
