So this episode is for you if your husband is maybe not super adventurous or maybe doesn't have a passion for travel like you do and he's just like never the initiator of going on a vacation in general.
And I can't even tell you how many women I've spoken with over the years just in casual conversations or who are podcast listeners or who are coming to work with me who are saying pretty much the same thing about their husbands.
I can think of three women who I've met in my life who said that their husbands are the initiators and the vacation planners.
And I've had a lot of people ask me over the years, like, how can you be married to someone that doesn't like to travel? And I'm like, well, first of all, kind of rude, but also valid.
So my answer is that my husband chooses to travel with me, even though he doesn't share in the same passion for travel that I do.
She was trying to figure out which of the travel style avatars her husband was and she kind of felt like none of them were really a fit for him.
And I told her like, yeah, you know, my husband doesn't really like to travel.
So maybe I should make up a new avatar called the hostage because I just forced them to come along with me.
And obviously I'm joking because I obviously do not take him hostage on vacation.
In all honesty, I want him to come along and actually enjoy himself, right? There's no fun in going on a vacation with someone else that's not having a good time.
