And if you look at the Quran, in some ways it could be summed up in two words, , signs and warnings.

Because signs are, if you think about a lot of signs, they're actually warnings.

You know, do not enter.

Do not turn right on red.

Stop, stop, stop.

So if you don't listen to the sign, if you don't read the sign, you actually endanger yourself.

You might get away with it the first, second, third time even, but one day ignoring that sign, there's gonna be something calamitous that happens.

That's the nature of ignoring signs.

Doctors have what they call signs and symptoms.

Symptoms you elicit from the actual sick person.

How are you feeling? Oh, I have pain.

Where? In my head.

On a scale of one to 10, how bad is it? 10 being the worst.

That's off the charts, doc.

So that's a symptom.

But then the doctor sees, oh, his sclera is yellow.

Something going on with the liver.

At least the old doctors.

Now they just take tests and get it all done for them.

But in the old days, they had to actually read the signs.

And so we actually believe this, everything in the world is a sign, signifying something.

Now the nihilists, like poor...

Macbeth thinks it's full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

But if you look at Shakespeare's in that play, he says that after he's told that his wife's dead, but who delivers the message? It literally says, enter Satan.

He spelled it S-E-Y-T-O-N, but we get the message.
