LRT008--6-3-24--Lloyd

In case you don't know, my profession involves dealing with some technology.

And part of that technology is hosting a makeshift computer museum.

So we got lots of cool stuff.

We got lots of old things, like some Apple IIs, some Trash 80s.

That's TRS-80 to you and me.

So I see Lloyd hanging out in the aisle, checking out the awesome old computer tech.

Comes in, touches it, goes out, comes back in.

And I'm over by the 3D printers looking over and I'm like, "Hmm, who's this guy?" And this is my job.

I go and introduce myself and say, "Hey, if you have any questions, let me know.

My name is DJ Fife and I spin drum and bass music." So Lloyd is like, "Yeah, I spent some time in Jamaica." I was like, "Oh, Jamaica has a, a rich history with drum and bass." And Lloyd's like, "I don't know anything about that." But he did tell me a quick story about the music industry and the producers and the making of money and the lack of money and the corruption of the Jamaican industry of music More to come about Lloyd.

Thanks for being on the Locomotive Ray Train.

[upbeat music] Heard a version of this earlier today in the, uh, stream.

Might've been King Jaffe rolling in with this one.

But here's a different remix, I suppose.
