I think this is one of the things that we find when we're stopping drinking alcohol that we do crave that little dopamine hit.
We're trying to get rid of the damage that the alcohol has caused, is causing in the long term.
But we're not living like I've gone through a lot of different diets in my life.
I've listened to a lot of people who said, you shouldn't be eating this food, you shouldn't be eating that food.
And I think in terms of damage, in terms of food especially, I love chocolate, I love coffee.
And it's for me having a balance between damage that too much of this stuff is causing and enjoying your life right enjoying the the basics of life you know enjoying your taste buds the natural taste buds that we have you know when you first stop half of the your comforts are off the table so i think leaning on chocolate or some form of sweet thing it takes the edge off, it takes the load off, and that's fine, but be honest about what it is, you know, this is what's called habit foraging, and it means that your habit is looking for, it's searching around for a new fuel, right, so you get the dopamine, when you're You do something good.
