And when, in doing that, I did so many things, you know? I went to a motherless daughters group in my 20s after my mother died.

And I remember I was dating this, um, oh my gosh, like a cop that was kind of narcissistic and had a ton of kids, and I look and think back now and go, "Oh my God." And there was a woman in this group, and she was 20 years my senior, and she was doing the same thing, and I was like, [gasps] "If I don't break up with him, I'm gonna be in that same situation where I'll always be second." And I remember going home and-

And, you know, there's nothing wrong with, you know, dating cops, but the narcissist part was the thing where I realized, "Oh my God, I'm a narcissist's dream because I'm a people pleaser and I'm a strong woman, and boy, they love people like me."

But I'm gonna come back, but I wanna come back to, I had to really learn about, you know, it wasn't just the, the younger you are when the trauma happened, the louder it is and the bigger the reaction.

Because when that trauma lands when you're little, it's unprocessed because it lands in the body.
