Before we jump in and I introduce the moderator, I just wanna say, uh, just a brief word about one of our other speakers on this panel.
Uh, it happens that this year is the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Seaboard and Gray Center.
Um, it was found-- [laughs] It was-- I always tell students when I'm introduced, um, sometimes I'm introduced as running the Center for the Administrative State.
[laughs]
But, um, it was founded 10 years ago by Professor Naomi Rao, uh, at Scalia Law School, now Judge Naomi Rao.
She led the center, uh, for its first several years, um, before being called into public service, first at OIRA and then the Banchin.
When she went into government, she said, "Adam, uh, could you possibly run the Gray Center for a year until I come back?"
[laughs]
Just one year.
Yeah, it was supposed to be one year
[laughs]
She grades me every year.
